Scoop-a-Joy is introducing a new matcha-mint flavored ice cream. Now, at a first glance, it seems to be a flavor for the adventurous, so how do we market to customers who love the simplicity of a classic vanilla or chocolate?
Our first step was brand positioning and a revamp. We wanted to go with something quirky and satirical like “therapy in a cone” to match Scoop-A-Joy’s brand voice. Our audience is millennials and Gen Z-ers with a focus on premium experiences, humor, and trendy health.
Marketing channels include social media (primarily Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest) as well as engaging store displays and free sample stands. We may also collaborate with influencers.
