Need a Pawfee Break?

Me too. But so did the owners of this whimsical cat cafe…their first logo just wasn’t hitting the notes. We changed that.

concept sketches and client feedback: ever so important

The Process

First was the discovery phase, where I consulted with the client and understood their vision. I then started to cross reference and analyze successful competitors: what were their branding strategies? How did they incorporate similar elements into their logos?

I identified the preferences of the target audience––people who favor the cozy and charming allure of a cat cafe. Here’s what I found:

My key findings were that a “visual coziness” and vintage vibe were essential to creating a logo that connected with targeted clientele.

Cassandra S., Co-owner

“We saw a 40% increase in foot traffic and 85% of new visitors were drawn in physically and digitally by the new logo.”

Paul M., Retail Manager

“1,200+ branded items were sold just in the first three months.”

Aside from being fun, this project let me bring strategic branding, art, and better use consumer statistics to bring good to adoptable cats everywhere.
